Did the Civil Rights movement accept sitting at the back of the bus only on weekends? No. Did the women’s suffrage movement ask only to vote in local elections to start? No. Did the labor movement ask only to work an 8-jour a day every other week? No.Did the great anti-war movement demand. “Out of Vietnam sometime in the future” I don’t think so.
They may force us to accept less, but we must not go hat-in-hand prepared to abandon our demand because they claim “That will never happen.”. Health care. Now! Health Care for all!. A single payer is the only answer.
